#asktheexpert my 8 month old is biting his lower lip frequently.he have 2 lower tooth at 6 months

A. such type of behaviour always decreases with increasing age of the child and it is very common behaviour at this age. with proper diversion and getting the child engaged in another things will help in decreasing such behaviour. meet your doctor for more adsvice and also share the video of such behaviour with the doctor. also see that the child is not having iron deficiency because that can aggravate this behaviour

A. Kids start sucking their lower lip due to the coping mechanism under unfamiliar situations and get into this habit. Moreover, it occurs in kids who experience misalignment or incorrect relation between their teeth and jaws or bite-size issues.
