#asktheexperts My 5 years 11 months old child has recovered from bacterial pneumonia last month and now I am scared about my child's with respect to HMPV virus.How can I protect my child from this virus as he goes to school.

A. Hello my dear parent! All the precautions we have taken during Covid are to be repeated now. A mask is compulsory as the child is with fellow kids, regular washing of hands, especially after a sneeze or a cough . Increase the immunity by giving your child, seasonal fruits and vegetables, green leafy vegetables. Consult your doctor for further advice.
