#asktheexperts My 3 months old baby girl has started putting everything in her mouth. How to tackle this problem?

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 5 m old boy1 Year agoA. finger, thumb, hand,things insertion in the oral cavity is very normal at this stage and usually it is due to teething pain the child is experiencing along with inflammation and pain in the gums.
just maintain hygiene of the child finger as well as any type of things which goes inside the oral cavity and also try to maintain the hygiene of your finger when you are touching the hands of the child.
to decrease the teething pain you can press the gums of the child and if the child is very irritable and crying for pain you can give paracetamold also.
it is a self limiting habit and no treatment is required.
but if hygiene is not maintained then dirty things going inside the oral cavity can cause infection fever vomiting and loose motions.

Teether you can introduce to your child of your choice silicon VPA free or you can go for with wooden one there are lots of options available your child started to have his teeth now which is why this kind of a problem is seen and it’s very clear symptom or sign for us to know that the teething has started so this is going to help and also start with homeopathic tablet number 21 give three tablets four times in the day with a gap5 to 6 hours
