POOJA KOTHARIExpecting Mom due this month4 months agoA. After suffering from typhoid fever, it's normal for your 3-year-5-month-old daughter to feel weak, as the body takes time to recover. To help her regain strength, offer a nutritious and balanced diet. Include soft, easily digestible foods like khichdi, dalia (porridge), boiled vegetables, mashed potatoes, and curd rice. Give her fruits like banana, apple, and papaya, and offer homemade soups with moong dal or chicken (if non-vegetarian). You can also give her eggs, milk, and dry fruits like soaked almonds or walnuts (if she can chew). Keep her hydrated with plenty of water, coconut water, and fresh fruit juices. Feed her small meals more frequently, and gradually increase her activity and food quantity as her strength returns. If weakness continues for long, consult your pediatrician for supplements or further tests.
