#asktheexperts Mam I had healthy baby delevery weight of 2.8 now he’s 7.2 I had small placenta my mom informed me my baby is healthy but he always look lean and weightless do placenta have any connection with his growth

A. Placenta has absolutely nothing to do with the weight of the baby and few babies are genetically and as they grow, they might put on very little weight also. Don’t worry about it as long as a baby is active
