#asktheexperts Is it normal for 8 month old to pass stool 3-5 times a day, due to this she is having very severe diaper rashes.

ExpertDr Disha PatelAyurvedic Physician3 years agoA. yes, ots ok, if stool olos soft, paste like.. Changing diapers as soon as it get full or in every 3 to 4 hours.
cleaning the area with a gentle washcloth
allowing dialer free time to air-dry. And to breath.
applying a diaper cream that contains zinc oxide.

Without proper physical examination it is not possible to conclude anything. Consult your child’s doctor for evaluation and advice. Use Babyhug tummy roll on. Good luck and take care.
