Q.

#asktheexperts I have got my daughter vaccinated after 6 weeks today, what should I do today? And she is also feeling fever, what has to be done for that? If paracetamol is to be given, what is the dosage to be given to a six week old baby girl?

A. 0.8ml when fever comes after vaccination you can give paracetamol to the child for fever as well as pain. paracetamol can be given maximum 4 times per day. you can also apply ice over the injection site. if there is local swelling you can apply ice as well as thrombophob gel.x vaccine fever usually subsides in max 2 to 3 days but if it continues beyond 3 days meet your dr to rule out any other causes of fever
