#asktheexperts I have c section 2 months ago.. now I feel like I can not feel very mild gentle touch or sensetion at scar area.. is it normal?

A. Hello, This is very common and normal. The numbness can be caused by the after effects of the epidural/spinal and also by nerve damage from where the belly was cut. Although some women regain feeling around their c/section scar within 4-8 weeks of birth, the majority will never regain complete.

Nope Of course this is not normal because you had a surgery two months back if you had to feel Numbness only for 24 to 48 hours not more than that so I think there is some issue you should get a check with your doctor because after C-section surgery for a day or two you may be feeling that but after that you don’t
