#asktheexperts I am still bleeding after 6 weeks of postpartum, is this normal

A. till 6 weeks it is considered as normal but after that there should be no flow so,You should have proper consultation with your treating doctor , as some examination or investigations may be needful, so that proper medications can be given And the treatment can be done very properly.

A. Normally after 40 days to 42 days maximum the bleeding should not happen if it has been such a long time I would recommend you to kindly consult your gynaecologist she needs to stop this bleeding because it’s getting too much for you now please consult the doctor for further assistance
