#asktheexperts i am not getting my date after delivery. Its been 4 months. Is it normal?

A. hi mom if u r doing exclusive breast feeding till now then it is ok to have lactational amenorrhea .. do upt to rule out pregnancy and use contraception to avoid unwanted pregnancy

A. Hi mom Yes this is normal. There is irregularity of periods after delivery due to the hormonal changes. Breastfeeding mothers tend to get periods late and as late as one year. Once u stop breastfeeding the periods will become normal and regular. So no need to worry. Take care
