You really need to avoid giving anything cold to the child to eat avoid switching of temperatures between two places and that’s what you can do and regular you can massage the chest and throat and back of the child with warm mustard oil and do hot compress that would help in clearing the congestion if there’s any will help and not formulating further congestion
