A. For an 8-month-old baby, milk (breast milk or formula) should still be the main source of nutrition, even though solid foods are being introduced. Here's a general guideline: Breastfed baby: Feed on demand, usually 5–6 times a day, including night feeds. Formula-fed baby: Offer about 500–700 ml (17–24 oz) of formula daily, divided into 3–4 feeds. Along with milk, you can offer 2–3 small solid meals per day, focusing on iron-rich, soft foods. Always respond to your baby's hunger cues, and remember that at this age, solids are a complement to milk, not a replacement.
