Weaning food can be started from 5-6 months of age and in that initially in the stage 1 you can introduce some semi solid food to the baby like Banana mango plum boiled Apple and then gradually you can start with some Puri of carrot potato other foods which can be given are porridge of suji e sabudana can be prebpared in breast milk or formula milk.
initially you can start withc one or two tsp which can be gradually increased up till at least three meals in a day

Once ur baby completes six months then u can start with cerelac, daal ka pani, ripe banana, apple puree, raagi porridge etc.
Introduce new food at the gap of three days to check for allergy from any food.
U can start with one meal in a day.
