A. the child is suffering from anaemia due to iron deficiency so you'll have to give food which is rich in iron and like cereals pulses apple banana as well as green leafy vegetables and beetroot.x also you will have to start iron supplements and it would consist of iron folic acid and vitamin b12 and take follow up every month with the doctor .

A. To increase iron content naturally in an 11-month-old baby's diet, you can incorporate the following iron-rich foods: 1. **Iron-Fortified Baby Cereals**: Start with iron-fortified baby cereals as they are a common first food for babies and provide a good source of iron. 2. **Pureed Meats**: Introduce pureed meats such as chicken, turkey, beef, or lamb, which are excellent sources of heme iron, a highly absorbable form of iron. 3. **Iron-Rich Fruits and Vegetables**: Include iron-rich fruits and vegetables in your baby's diet, such as cooked spinach, peas, lentils, beans, tofu, prunes, and apricots. 4. **Egg Yolks**: Incorporate cooked egg yolks into your baby's diet as they are a good source of iron. 5. **Iron-Fortified Foods**: Offer iron-fortified foods like infant cereals, bread, pasta, and fortified baby foods. 6. **Vitamin C-Rich Foods**: Include foods high in vitamin C, such as oranges, strawberries, kiwi, tomatoes, and bell peppers, alongside iron-rich foods. Vitamin C enhances iron absorption. 7. **Avoid Giving Whole Cow's Milk**: Cow's milk can inhibit iron absorption in infants under one year of age. Avoid giving cow's milk as a main drink until your baby is at least one year old. 8. **Limiting Foods that Inhibit Iron Absorption**: Avoid giving your baby tea or coffee with meals, as they can inhibit iron absorption. Remember to consult with your pediatrician before introducing new foods to your baby's diet, especially if there are concerns about iron deficiency or allergies. They can provide guidance on age-appropriate foods and ensure your baby is getting the nutrients they need for healthy development.
