#asktheexperts hii my son is 6 months old,so I started cerelac rice he is not eating switched to wheat also not eating he is getting voice potty my inlaws are saying his gums are tightening,what to do heis having motions

Weaning food can be started from 5-6 months of age and in that initially in the stage 1 you can introduce some semi solid food to the baby like Banana mfango plum boiled Apple and then gradually you can start with some Puri of carrot potato other foods which can be given are porridge of suji e sabudana can be prepared in breast milk or formula milk. initially you can start with one or two tsp which can be gradually increased up till at least three meals in a day

khyati patelMom of a 5 yr 10 m old boy3 years agoA. yes motion is possible due to teething as the baby gets gum irritation and puts anything and everything in his mouth and that is why he is getting motions, there is a teether available in the medical store, get that and tie it in your baby's neck, will help him during teething and also keep water teethers for your baby to sooth his irritation.

shilpi BhandariMom of 2 children3 years agoA. hello mom in case of svere constipation apply mustard oil on the place of passing motion along with healthy and nutritional diet which is full of fibre and give warm water every time and add two or three drops of warm ghee in her milk one time a day
