#asktheexperts Hi Sir, my baby is 19 days old and he is not breastfeeding. kindly suggest how to proceed further.

AbhayaMom of a 15 yr 10 m old boy4 years agoA. Hi mom Some babies they take time to latch. So no need to worry. Keep trying. Keep the baby head a bit elevated while feeding and put whole of the nipple and most of the aerola in the babies mouth so that baby latches easily. If u have inverted or flat nipples due to which baby is not able to suck then you can use nipple shield to feed ur baby. U can buy #Babyhug nipple shield which is BPA free and non toxic
