#asktheexperts hi my name is samta garg.. my daughter is 17 days old .. she had a jaundice by birth and that she has jaundice range 16 and she got admitted for one day and that time of discharge range was 9.8 now my question is jaundice can b develop again after the discharge because her eyes color started to change into light yellowish color .. is it nrml or something serious??

Jaundice can be seen even after healing once jaundice can come back again so if you feel that this is yellow colour or tint on the body of course you should check with your doctor and I don’t know whether your doctor told you are not but you should definitely keep your child into indirect sunlight twice in a day for 30 to 40 minutes start with vitamin D supplement which is mandatory for one year
