Q.

#asktheexperts Hi Ma’am, I have recently started sending my 1 year 9 month old child to play school. She has been crying continuously during drop-off until we pick her up. Could you please advise us on how we can help her settle down? Also, kindly let us know what we should do at home to prepare or comfort her.

A. Okay so first of all I think it’s a very early age you should never enrol your child to play group or pre-nursery before the age of 2 1/2 years to 3 years of age kids have massive separation anxiety in which your child should tell your child that I’m sitting downstairs I’ll bring you back home with me and start to start with you should send your child for less hours to the school and slowly increase the hours
