#asktheexperts Hi, I am 10 weeks postpartum and my c section stitches are still oozing out fat. My gynaec said only dressing can be done. How long does fat necrosis stay.

A. In case of a fatty abdominal wall it can happen and regular dressings should be done and if it doesn’t get healed despite that then the doctor might prefer opening and closing again just until the Scar areaWrite Your Answer Here
