#asktheexperts Hi Dr, I went through C section on 27th April. Now I'm facing problems in feeding the baby. I'm having wounds on my nipples and it pains a lot. My dr said that it is possible that the baby has not latched properly. So currently I'm using breast pump and feeding that milk through bottle to the baby. Can I continue this way rather than feeding her directly through breast?

AbhayaMom of a 16 yr old boy3 years agoA. Hi mom U can use nipple shield like babyhug nipple shield to feed ur baby.. Till then continue to apply nip care ointment to get relief from sore and cracked nipples. Yes u can also pump ur milk and give to ur baby..There is no problem in that.
