A. It sounds like your daughter’s fever and other symptoms are not improving even after 3-4 days of medication. Since she has fever, cold, cough, headache, body aches, and stomach pain along with loss of appetite, here’s what you can do: 1. Monitor for Warning Signs 🚨 If she has any of these, take her to a doctor immediately: ✔ High fever (above 102°F and not reducing with medication) ✔ Severe dehydration (no urine for 6-8 hours, dry lips, sunken eyes) ✔ Breathing difficulty (fast breathing, chest retractions) ✔ Persistent vomiting or diarrhea ✔ Severe stomach pain (pointing to a specific area) 2. Try Home Remedies for Relief 🌿 ✔ For Fever → Give lukewarm sponge bath and plenty of fluids. Continue paracetamol if needed as per doctor’s advice. ✔ For Cold & Cough → Give steam inhalation with ajwain or tulsi leaves. Use saline drops for a blocked nose. ✔ For Stomach Pain → Offer light, warm foods (dal khichdi, moong dal soup, curd rice). You can also rub her tummy gently to relieve gas. ✔ For Weakness & No Appetite → Give ORS or electrolyte drinks. Offer small frequent meals (coconut water, fruit juices, soups). 3. Re-evaluate the Medication 💊 Since she isn’t improving, she may need different treatment. Sometimes viral infections take time, but if symptoms are worsening or persisting, she might need blood tests to check for bacterial infection, dengue, typhoid, or other causes. If her fever and symptoms don’t improve in the next 24 hours, I strongly recommend you visit the doctor again. Let me know if you need help with home remedies or diet suggestions! Wishing her a speedy recovery. 💕
