Q.

#asktheexperts Hi doctor... my baby is now 5.5 months old...soon will be 6 months complete....what is the best first solid food to be introduced?? how much in quantity? and frequency?

A. you can start with fruit puree.like chilli,apple etc.since fruits are easily digestible.

A. you can start food post 6 months . if the milk is not sufficient try liquid foods that should be warm to feed.

A. Hi, Apple puree is best starting solid food , gave your baby 5 to 6 tea spoon

A. yes once the baby is 6 months and above you can start giving complementary foods to the baby you can you homemade recipes to the baby traditionally prepared in the house in small quantity

A. hi you can start with liquid food items like mung dal Pani, rice starch which is easy to digest give it in few spoons of quantity once or twice in a day. then gradually increase food quantity and frequency
