ExpertDr. Minal AcharyaNutritionist3 years agoA. Dear mum, you should start semi solid foods after completion of 6 months. You can begin with foods like porridge, kheer, homemade cerelac, fruit purée. Then dal rice with vegetables, khichadi, curd.
Add ghee to every meal and squeeze lemon wherever possible.

once baby become 6 months old , you can start with liquid diet like mung dal Pani, rice water which is easy to take.
start with few spoons of quantity .
and gradually increase it's quantity and consistency as per your child to requirements.
