Doctor s don't recommend formula milk as it is not required at all . exclusive breastfeeding is the best for good immunity and baby health , reduces colic and gas issues and helps in the overall brain development of the baby. No water , ghutti or honey or any other syp is given till 6 months of age .

This is because their body can use up almost all the components of breast milk for nutrition and there is very little left that needs to be eliminated. After the first 6 weeks or so they can go even a week or two without a poop.

When a breastfed baby has a bowel movement after nearly every feeding during the first few weeks, it's a good sign – it means he's getting plenty of milk. Formula-fed babies often have bowel movements less frequently than breastfed babies. But it's normal for them to poop after every feeding as well.
