#asktheexperts Hi Doctor I have a query regarding my baby scan in the womb the arp ( renal scan) was 5 mm and 4 mm on her 21 weeks scan and at 30 week it was prominent on one and right one is fully resolved but after birth when we did the scan again at 20 day it was 10 mm and 11 mm ..how can this possible if one is fully resolved inside and now when should i do the scan and is it very serious

A. Most of the times, they usually resolve on their own, but the treating pediatrician will be the ideal person to tell you when to check regularly, depending upon the symptoms of the baby
