Q.

#asktheexperts Hello sir, My baby's birth weight is 2.9kg and now she is 4 months old. Now her weight is 5. Is this weight is sufficient? can I start to give water for her?

A. Dear mum, weight of 5 kg is a normal weight for 4 months old baby considering a birth weight of 2.9 kg. You should not give water till 6 months complete. You should exclusively breastfeed until then. Breast milk fulfils your baby’s hydration needs until then.
