Madam this is just a misconception people don’t have proper knowledge and they just keep spreading things which they do not have knowledge about so don’t believe everything that you hear in case of any doubt always check with your doctor a better knowledge

Dr. SonaliGuardian of a 2 yr old boy1 Year agoA. hi there fellow momma, I'm a mother of a 1.5 month old. Firstly, if your baby is gaining weight, peeing 6 times atleast and achieving milestones then there is no need to increase formula. however it is your parenting choice. if you increase formula to a few more times your supply would decrease thinking there is less requirement and you would fall into the formula trap ending up needing more formula. and it is absolutely normal for kids to sleep longer after formula as it takes a long time to digest. it is like having a heavy meal and sleeping tight after. I am no expert this is all research and information from a seminar from Dr. Yogyata, the birth life. take care

Author of questionMom of 2 children1 Year agoA. but people says if we continue formula milk than your childs immunity will be not built up as they built up by breast milk and actually i started formula for my first daughter after 7 month and she grown up fine thats why i am confused other wise i have no issue to give formula milk

RashmiMom of a 11 yr 7 m old girl1 Year agoA. Actually I think your child is being more fool with the formula feeding that you are giving so I would suggest you to give it specially in the nighttime so that your child is sleeping peacefully as the weight gain that we talk about is going fine as per the age as of now but if you feel that the child is more satisfied with formula and sleep for better duration then you can give it twice or thrice in a day because I is generally recommended to feed your child only on demand
