#asktheexperts Hello!my baby boy is 9mnts old.which food I have to keep to become fat..Day by day he coming to thin.what is the problem?

A. it is very important to meet your doctor to confirm whether the weight and height of the child is within normal limits or not and if the child is suffering from any nutritional deficiency because that can lead to loss of appetite. it is important that it you haave to offer different recipes and flavours made from cereals pulses vegetable milk and fruits daily to improve the weight and height of the child DIET : - it is very important to give all types of food made from cereals (RICE WHEAT and other) pulses (DAL) vegetable milk and fruits to the child and this will only help in increasing the growth weight height immunity of the child. YOU CAN GO FOR ANY RECIPES AND FLAVOURS AND TASTE ACCORDING TO THE THE PREFERENCE OF THE CHILD. Start with small quantity and gradually increase the quantity. you can go for different colour plates as well as different size plates to make eating more attractive. Also it is very important to rule out nutritional deficiency in your child because that is one of the most common cause of loss of appetite in the child.

A. hello mom homemade food is best dear u can give Breast milk or formula Iron-fortified cereal like rice, oats mixed with milk Fruit Pureed like banana, peaches, pears, plum, mango. Mix two fruits together to taste it better. Vegetable pureed (completely cooked) like sweet potato, carrots, squash, beans and potato. Pulse soup after boiling pulse in sufficient water. Crumbled cheese
