#asktheexperts hello ma'am my daughter is 7yrs 10 month old. She had cold and fever since Monday. On Tuesday the temp lowered, Wednesday whole day no fever, then evening it went upto 99.7. Then got reduced on its own. Thursday again 99.7, but in afternoon it went upto 101. coughing was bad and swollen tonsil. Gave her paracetamol and consulted doctor. Doctor prescribed antibiotics clampkid forte and cough syrup which i was alreadygiving to her. Gave first dose at night. But there is no fever since evening. Should I stop antibiotic as it is first dose only? As there is no fever since yesterday evening and coughing is also not there, can she go to school?
