#AskTheExpert Daughter had fever 100.8 ( Arm pit ) on Friday, antibotic given , today monday morning .. she is having Temp 99 ( arm pit ). doctor advised for blood test if fever on monday. is 99+ ( arm pit ) temp fine. for last two days .. no temp above 99. is 99 temp ( arm pit ) good ?

ExpertDr. Swapnil SaxenaAyurvedic Physician4 years agoA. usually there will be no requirement of such test because it can be viral fever. it has not been quite a long time also usually viral fever takes 3 -5 days time to subside and keep giving medications as per prescription
