Q.

#asktheexperts Hello. I have regular periods (28 days cycle). However, this time my periods are delayed by 3 -4 days from my last period date. My last period was on 10th Aug. I took a home pregnancy test and a beta hCG blood test, but the result was negative. Do I need to take a pregnancy test again after few days? Or Is it confirmed that I am not pregnant?

A. yes you can do again. If you're period date is being missed and you are confirmed that it is not pregnancy. Then you can wait for 10 days more for your periods to come naturally even if after that ,no periods then you can take medications for your periods to come.

A. You should consult your doctor I sometimes a period can get delayed by hormonal imbalance also but I would you suggest you currently with the status that you are mentioned wait for six more days if you do not get your period then you visit your gynaecologist
