#asktheexperts Hello doctor.. My 6.5 month old son has been passing hard stool for past few weeks. I started giving him some water n even myself started having more water as I am breastfeeding him, but that is not helping him much. His face turns red while applying pressure to pass stool...seems like he has to apply lot of effort. What should I do so that he has easy stool.? Have been giving him just apple puree n milk

ExpertDr Disha PatelAyurvedic Physician3 years agoA. give some fiber rich veggies or fruits in baby food preparation to soften stool and easy to evacuate.
give sipes of water after each solid food. food should be soft, well cooked.
Give Tummy Massage in clockwise direction.
