#asktheexperts hello doc my son is 17 months old....I just want to ask that he is not talking or recognizing mom and dad or else he knows everything Like tv ac remote every thing but when we ask him where is his mom he never able to tell that..and also doesn't speak so much

Dr. Vaibhav jainFather of a 5 yr 9 m old girl3 years agoA. it need tk be examined. May require a physical examination for the problem as you have mentioned . some home remedy can be done for this but a proper medication should be given only after examine of the baby by a doctor .
