#asktheexperts can’t I kiss my little baby if daignosed with HSV positive even when healed with out breaks .Is it so contagious that I can’t kiss my little 2 year old and 6year old kids on cheek too .what precautions I need to take with kids

A. Look in some cases yes it is contagious which is why it is not suggested that you get close to KJ is there or something but if your breakout is completely clear and the doctor has confirmed that you’re completely alright then in case if you want to proceed with it it is not a problem but if you are still positive or having rashes or science then in that case you should not kiss your child
