#asktheexperts can i rub honey to my child’s gums as he is having mouthing period currently and he maybe having itching in gums

Dhanashree Abhishek KajaveMom of a 6 m old boy3 months agoA. Honey should not be given to children below 1 yr of age. You can give refrigerated clean cloth to chew. You can give neem teether. Also you can rub baby's gums with soft silicon finger /U shape brush.

No you cannot use it as raw honey can lead to stomach infections and all which is why it is not advisable that you use it under the age of one year so you can check with your dentist or your paediatrician to advise you with Sumz if you’re more interested in using that and start with tablet number 21 under homeopathy
