Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 5 m old boy2 years agoA. when fever and pain comes after vaccination you can give paracetamol to the child for fever as well as pain.
paracetamol can be given maximum 4 tiemes per day.
you can also apply ice over the injection site.
if there is local swelling you can apply ice as well as thrombophob gel.in
vaccine fever usually subsides in max 2 to 3 days but if it continues beyond 3 days meet your dr to rule out any other causes of fever

RashmiMom of a 11 yr old girl2 years agoA. You can keep ice cube or cold pack on to the affected area also you can go ahead with giving paracetamol to child without any fever also it is going to help in reducing down the pain and irritation Dario child has due to vaccination
