A. there is no problem in making the child wear diaper throughout the day but the important thing would be that it should not cause skin allergy as well as you have to change it frequently before urine accumulation causes perianal rash. that means diaper has to be changedx according to the urinary frequency of the child you can apply coconut oil before making the child wear diaper which will help in decreasing the chances of rash .

A. For an 8-month-old baby, the duration a diaper can be used depends on several factors, including the baby's urine output, bowel movements, and the type of diaper. Here are some general guidelines: 1. **Wet Diapers:** On average, a diaper should be changed every 2-4 hours during the day or whenever it is noticeably wet. Some high-absorbency diapers can last longer, but it’s important to check frequently to ensure the baby is dry and comfortable. 2. **Soiled Diapers:** Diapers should be changed immediately when soiled with a bowel movement to prevent skin irritation and diaper rash. 3. **Nighttime:** Overnight diapers are designed to provide extra absorbency and can often last 8-12 hours. However, if the baby wakes up during the night and the diaper feels very full or the baby seems uncomfortable, it’s a good idea to change it. 4. **Skin Health:** Keeping the baby’s skin dry and clean is crucial. Prolonged exposure to wet or soiled diapers can cause diaper rash and discomfort. 5. **Activity Level:** If the baby is very active, you might need to change the diaper more frequently to ensure it stays in place and doesn’t leak. ### Tips for Diaper Changes: - **Regular Checks:** Check the diaper frequently, especially if the baby seems fussy or uncomfortable. - **Use Barrier Creams:** Applying a barrier cream can help protect the baby’s skin from moisture. - **Proper Fit:** Ensure the diaper fits properly to prevent leaks and provide comfort. - **Hygiene:** Always clean the diaper area thoroughly during each change to prevent irritation and infection. By following these guidelines, you can help ensure your baby stays comfortable and their skin remains healthy.
