#asktheexperts 6week vaccinations..... bhaut pain rehta kya.... sir i m so warried about my baby

A. I have done my 6 week vaccination it’s painful but keep clam fever last for 24 hrs not more than 99 F Check out firstcry videos of different types of techniques to keep baby comfortable Ask your paediatrician if u can hold ur baby in arms while giving vaccine so baby will feel face….

A. when fever comes after vaccination you can ggive paracetamol to the child for fever as well as pain. paracetamol can be given maximum 4 times per day. you can also aapply ice over the injection site. if there is local swelling you can apply ice as well as thrombophob gel. vaccine fever usually subsides in max 2 to 3 days but if it continues beyond 3 days meet your dr to rule out any other causes of fever

A. Hi All the vaccinations are going to be little painful and most of the times kids do get fever after vaccination so you can keep an ice cube on to that area where the vaccination has been given so in the swelling is going to settle down and if there is pain or fever then you can go ahead with giving paracetamol every six hours till the time
