Q.

#asktheexperts 1 month 10 day old baby , her birth weight is 2.980 kg and now its 4.420 kg ...is it normal?? at night how many times should i feed her??Should I feed the baby only when she cries for food at night or should I do compulsory feeding every 2 hours??

A. Namaste Mom, THe weight gain is quite a lot for a month , so monthly gain is expected in the range of 300 gm to 1 kg and by age of 4 to 6 months they double their birth weight. When excluisvely breast feeding it is ideal to feed them on demand
