#AskTheExpert Will periods reduce lactation in feeding mother's. Can we take medicine for lactation after 4 months of delivery

A. The Breastmilk doesn't become sour or bad during breastfeeding. It will be equally nutritious as always. Some women may experience a slight drop in the milk supply few days prior to the periods and until it is over. This is due to the hormonal changes happening in the body during mensuration. The milk supply will get back to normal once the period is over. Yes you can take something like galaxy granules for milk secretion but only with your doctor's advice.
