#asktheexpert why my baby is not sitting up on its now yet?

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children4 years agoA. the child will be able to sit with support by age of 5-6 months without support by age of 7-8 months,able to crawl by 9-10 months and walk independently only after one year of age till then wait n watch at times certain babies may skip the milestone of crawling and will begin to stand with support and then without support and work independently thereafter which is considered as normal you should not worry. at times the milestones can get delayed or achieved early also.variation can be commonly seen in the particular age group according to the growth pattern of the baby.. but if it is delayed beyond the range then you should consult doctor to get yousitr baby e examine once and for clearing the doubts.

Hi Your child is five months old at this age kids are like that only what is your child completes the age of six months that would be the right time for you to make your child sit with support and by completing the age of 8 to 8 1/2 months only your child will learn to sit independently so please do not make your child sit as of now you’re going to hurt the spine of your child
