A. Hai good morning !! Babies gain 400-900 gm per month , by 5-6 months babies double their birth weight . Check regular weight of baby every month,if you observe baby gaining less weight or not gaining . Have a look on baby feed (whether feed is sufficient or not) ,peeing 7-8 times a day,sleeping 14-18 hours a day. Check with Doctor if baby is less than the ideal weight range.
