#asktheexpert when does a baby start to walk...mine doesn't walk..has no teeth and doesn't even talks

ExpertNiharika PandeyPediatric Dentist4 years agoA. Hi kids can achieve their milestones at different timings so don't be tensed as no two kids are same.. babies usually get their first milk teeth anytime from 6 months upto the age of 18 months

Author of questionMom of a 5 yr old girl4 years agoA. hii thanks for clarifying...she says mama papa ...walks a few steps sometimes on her own. I thought mine is late in everything coz one of my close relatives is always like ur baby hasn't started talking ..she is not walking yet my kids were walking and talking by 1 year and so on. Feeling relaxed now ..was planning a visit to paed😉. thanks again

Hi See kids learn to walk with support mostly by the age of 11 to 12 months and then independently by the age of 16 to 17 month sometimes and also that it can come up till the age of 17 months so you can wait till that time and the speaking also happens mostly after the age of 9 to 10 months with the kids can pick up some easy words like mamma papa
