#asktheexpert what's the ruling on massage (maalish) of new borns, it used to be a 'tradition' in Indian homes... but strangely, new generation doctors are saying I shouldn't... ??

A. further for this you can get appropriate guidance by consulting your local doctor to get relevant information and get all your doubts cleared which will be a better approach for this in a proper way it.t becomes difficult to explain here in details without propmaxer examination

A. U Should start massaging the body of the child after one week of birth it is perfectly alright to do a gentle massage twice a day I don’t know which doctor of yours is saying no to you but even if you ask doctors over here on First Cry they always say that you should do a gentle massage
