See Who is the doctor say that you should complete 39 weeks of pregnancy so if you want to go for elective C section only then you can go ahead with it any point of time see suppose if you have a date in your mind on which you want to be operated and if it is about about 38 weeks or something then you can get yourself operated then also if you want great up to 39 weeks of pregnancy and then choose a date accordingly
