#asktheexpert what is calcification in placenta ? does it harm the foetus ? will it change the delivery plan ?

A. Depends on when the calcification has formed. If the calcification is seen in the second trimester, then we have to evaluate what is wrong, but if it is in your third trimester near term, it is a normal finding
