Q.

#AskTheExpert Two kids at my home are ill since day before yesterday having fever 102 and above they are 5 years plus. now from today's morning my daughter has 101.2 fever. what to do?

A. Fever is a response of the body to any kind of infection or any inflammatory process in body so you can give paracetamol in a dose of 15 mg/kg/dose as the first line treatment also this dose can be again repeated after every 5 to 6 hours if again required and yyyou can also do cold sponging of the body to reduce fever
