Dr. Vaibhav jainFather of a 5 yr 11 m old girl4 years agoA. all the . Corona is a viral infection that spread via air and droplets . Therefore proper hand washing and wearing mask is most important . Symtoms are same in kids also . Influenza vaccine should be given to baby as recommended by doctor .

Cold is most of the time because of viral illness and if the child is having recurrent running nose and nasal congestion it may be a part of allergic rhinitis also so it needs a proper examination. steam inhalation will be beneficial in both the cases along with decongestant medicine like alex cold/ hatric 3/ sinarest. As a part of viral illness there could be associated symptoms like cough and fever which needs treatment accordingly alonkg with a proper hydration needs to be maintained .
