#AskTheExpert sir my father-in- law is giving honey to my 4 month old baby. Any side effects of that?Nd I think he’s not getting poop properly.. what can be the reason.m? Is it bcoz of this honey or something else?

Breastfeeding is considered the best source of natural immunity and also all the antibodies to a newborn baby . Doctor s don't recommend formula milk as it is not required at all . exclusive breastfeeding is the best for good immunity and baby health , reduces colic and gas issues and helps in the overall brain development of the baby. No water , ghutti or honey or any other syp is given till 6 months of age .
