you should start brushing your kid's teeth as soon as they erupt.
brush twrice daily by using silicon finger toothbrush along with kids toothpaste like colgate natural or flavoured toothpaste like chiccoo or mee mee in rice grain size amount.

As your baby is only one year old so you should only use finger silicon brush and it's very easy to use you just have to out it on finger and brush your babies teeth and secondly before two years dont use any toothpaste for baby and you can use only baby toothbrushes.
